Bronze bowl with a 24ct gold rim. The bronze bowl measures 19cm high x 40.5cm wide x 34.5cm deep. The mallet measures 44cm long x 15cm wide and is thought to be a piece of Rata washed ashore on the Raumanuka And Motueka Sandspit Scenic Reserve. Cast from a hand carved Oamaru stone original, this oval bell bowl has unique sound qualities due to its asymmetric shape. The ring changes subtly, depending on where you strike it.
